Operation Save My Fluff: Round 3
Success! Finally, I think I have removed all of the detergent residue. I don’t think I could get my diapers any cleaner if I tried. Here was my plan of attack for round 3:
1. Cold pre-wash, no detergent.
2. Warm wash with 1/4 of the recommended amount of Tide Free.
3. Hot soak with 3 tbsp of Rockin’ Green Bare Naked Babies for 1 hour, followed by the normal hot wash cycle.
4. Cold rinse.
As for the leaks? Well, they seem to be isolated to full diapers and whenever the onesie gets tucked into the diaper. I think sizing up the kiddo’s onesies will help prevent that.
Going forward, my wash routine will be as follows:
1. Cold pre-wash, no detergent.
2. Warm/hot wash with recommended amount of Rockin Green Bare Naked Babies.
3. Cold rinse.
I’ll keep using the Tide Free for now until the order of Rockin’ Green arrives. For now, the fluff has been saved! Hooray!
